Audi has introduced the 2014 A6 Avant 2.0 TDI Ultra Black Edition. It delivers better fuel efficiency, more power and nicer standard equipment.
The 4-cylinder 2.0 TDI engine produces 175 hp (129 kW) in standard configuration but in the "ultra" variant it has been tuned to deliver 190 hp (140 kW), while the torque has gone up to 400 Nm (295 lb-ft). These figures allow the Ultra Black Edition to accelerate 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 8.7 seconds before hitting a top speed of 225 km/h (140 mph).
Despite the extra power, the Audi A6 Avant 2.0 TDI Ultra Black Edition has improved in efficiency as it returns 51.1 mpg US (61.4 mpg UK or 4.6 liters / 100 km) whereas the standard model does 47 mpg US (56.5 mpg UK or 5 liters / 100 km). CO2 emissions were also slashed from 132 g/km to 119 g/km.
The standard equipment includes S-line body kit, DAB radio and an electric tailgate.
