Launching late next year
The 2015 Mercedes-Benz CLS facelift has been grabbed on camera once again ahead of a scheduled late 2014 reveal.
The current generation of the CLS
went on sale at the beginning of 2011 so Mercedes-Benz is working on a
facelift which will reach dealerships in early 2015. Don't expect a lot
of changes in terms of design as all styling tweaks will be reserved to
the front fascia where the four-door coupe will get a new bumper, grille
and headlights.
More importantly, it will most likely be the first U.S. Mercedes-Benz model to feature a 9G-TRONIC nine-speed automatic transmission which will be available "in at least one engine combination", according to a company insider.
Chances are the CLS Shooting Brake facelift will be launched together with the regular version towards the end of next year as 2015MY.
