On January 1, 2013, on the occasion of the presentation of his
wishes, Skoda had a sacred announcement: the arrival of six new products
in its range in the new year. It all started with the launch of the
Rapid compact in January. Then there was the market in March of the
third generation Octavia sedan and wagon. Then we had the presentation
of the restyled Superb (in April) and the Rapid Spaceback last month.
The
Czech manufacturer has addressed his offbeat SUV to offer him a new
face, showing the new stylistic codes of the brand. Unfortunately, in
the process, the Yeti calms down and loses his jovial side. The
additional lights, which gave a sympathetic side to the bow disappear.
Gone are the curves, lines are drawn to the rule. We recognize however
that the drawing is a little less rigid than the last productions of the
brand.
At the rear, if the shape of the lights do not change, their
skin is new. They adopt the light signature "C" made of diodes. The
tailgate has been redesigned with an outline of license plate copied
from the latest models of the brand: a hollow trapezoid body below the
logo. We note also new wheels.
The changes
are more rare on the inside. A trained eye will note especially the new
steering wheel. The equipment should be enriched and the range of
engines update. We should know more in the coming hours.
